Connecting to Something Deeper

Most of us think about ourselves like waves. We have a certain form. We rise, we fall, and one day, we’ll crash on the shore. What if that wasn’t the whole story, though? What if there was also the story of the ocean?

In that story, a wave isn’t separate or fixed. In that story, it’s a temporary, ever-changing manifestation of the one, great ocean. It’s connected to every other wave, rising from its source and returning to its source to create something new. That’s a story with very different implications.

Spirituality, at its best, points us back to that bigger story. 

What I Do

Through stories, articles, and talks, I work to point us back to that bigger story and explore all of its implications. I work to remind us to listen to our inner-knowing and remember what we really are, because when we do that, love, joy, peace, and justice are natural by-products.
